Point Isabel, Texas — January 15th 1864

To the Agent of Adams Express at New Orleans, La.

Sir,

I received official notice of their being a box of mine at your office. I wrote to you requesting you to forward it to my address, but I have not seen the box yet. You will confer a favor by sending it by the Purser of the Steamer Crescent, or the Clinton, or any of the steamers running to this Point.
